Pastor Truly Walean moved to New Hampshire from California in 2000, where he met Pastor Christina Walean in October 2001. They married in 2004 and have three children named Caleb, Elijah, and Charissa. From 2006 to 2014 dedicated their time volunteering in a local Foursquare church as members of the Board Committee and leaders in Youth/Young Adults and Sunday School ministry.
 
In 2015 Pastor Truly volunteered for a short-term mission trip to rebuild two churches in the Philippines destroyed by the typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). Upon returning to the States, they received the calling to plant a church in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. For two and a half years (and to this day), both were mentored by Dr. Rev. Tom Johnston for Church Plant and Leadership Development in Trinity Life Community in Bedford, NH.
 
In June 2018, New Life Community was launched as part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel in Portsmouth, NH.
 
Truly studied at Liberty University and graduated in Theology and Biblical Study in 2016. 
Christina studied at the University of Indonesia and graduated in Public Relations in 2001.
 
The things that Truly and Christina value most are relationships with God and others and a cup of awesome coffee.
